Andie Arana Gomez (b. 2002) was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala until age thirteen when the Arana Gomez family immigrated to the United States and settled in Central Indiana. The immigration process became a formative experience for the artists and a theme that they explore in their art. In May 2025, Andie received their BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and a minor in French from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. While concentrating in painting, the artists diversified with both drawing, painting, and printmaking credits and received the 2025 Senior Award in Printmaking.

Andie continues to be based in Central Indiana where they work as Community Engagement Co-director for Indiana Latino Arts as well as working in retail custom framing and keeping a studio art practice. In April of 2025, they were selected to be part of the Latino Artists Mentorship Program (LAMP) in Indiana and will be part of a group show with the cohort at the Eiteljor Museum of American Indians and Western Arts in Indianapolis, IN.
